New machinery safety checks

When newly purchased machinery arrives on your site you must consider the health and safety implications before introducing it into your operations. Our checklist will help ensure you don’t miss anything.

Careful selection

As part of the process of choosing a new machine you will have considered health, safety and environmental aspects in your criteria, for example whether it has a low noise output and fits the space available with sufficient working room around it. Once it arrives on site, it’s time to give it a good check over, ensure the paperwork is correct, install and commission it, and carry out a risk assessment. To ensure a seamless transition into the workplace use our New Machinery Safety Checks form. It takes you through a systematic review based on HSE guidance.
